What luck! We happened to be in town just when a
few world-class sand sculptors were on hand making a giant display for the street
fair! You can also see some spectacular murals in the background.
At the street fair, a talented band provides
live music, while many booths and tents display a vast array of unique and
beautiful items.
Ediz Spit, which extends northeast in front of
the city, gives a great view of both the city and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Here you'll find hundreds, perhaps thousands, of rock cairns built by
local citizens.
