Here we see the view from a point about halfway up the road to the top. Notable are Dungeness Spit and a tiny dot at the end, which is the lighthouse.

Now at the top, the Olympic Mountains loom large to the south in a nearly 180 degree panorama.

To the north, a grand view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca presents itself, including Victoria, B.C. on the opposite side. Hurricane Ridge is open in the winter for several types of skiing, hence the Ski Patrol.

Wildlife seems as tame here as in many other remote parks in the state. Deer walk freely about the parking lot, unphased by the tourists.
