Hello and welcome!
My name is Aaron C. Gilbert, and I am a contractor. When I decided to start a blog, I had no idea what to write about. I know that most people write about pop culture, movie stars, music moguls, and what have you. But honestly, I am not into all that stuff. I am the type of person who has always had a creative side; I enjoy creating wonderful things and spaces with my hands. This is probably why it isn’t a surprise to those who know me that I ended up becoming a general contractor.
Whether is building you stylish bookcases for your office, or you want to get the walkways and driveway around your home power washed, I’m your guy. I know this probably seems like boring and unskilled work, but the truth of the matter is that general contracting work takes a lot of skill. Being a general contractor, precision and accuracy is everything in my business. One wrong move and a whole job can go south quickly.
Like when you work a desk job, you can daydream (admit it…you know you do), go on a bathroom break and stay in the stall on your phone, etc. and nobody will say too much. That’s not the case when you are a general contractor. Your word and being able to stay on schedule is what keeps you in business and gets you those much desired referrals. So, if you are interested in what general contracting work is all about, read on.
Thanks for stopping by!
